Services you would pay for to help your parents?

Honestly, a checklist would be great too - check fire alarm batteries, dryer screen, dishwasher and washing machine drain, just a list of general maintenance they likely forget to do.

We pay $30/hr for someone to sit with my dad 3 hours 3 times a week and make lunch. My mom is still active, but my dad needs 24 hour supervision. So this gives her a break (he also goes to memory care 2 days a week for 6 hours).

LOL. You want them to do more but work less than 12 hours a week. Delusional.

Dp. But wanted to highlight the need for the minimum, even if it’s a 3 hour min per visit. Otherwise you will spend too much time and money scooting around for 2 hour jobs.

This. Someone kind and not having to dealing with staff turnover and a company constantly sending you someone different.
