Clemson has a lower acceptance rate than many schools ranked “higher” by U.S. News.

Son and all of his friends who applied are deferred. He’s already accepted at his second choice school and first choice decision is out tomorrow.

I think PP meant son was accepted by his 2nd choice college, not that son committed to the school that accepted him.
