I like it but at my local TJs all the staff and half the customers are in masks! It's like stepping into 2020. |
Hahaha, so true. I just remind myself to be patient before I go. I love their cheeses and some of their other items. Some of the frozen stuff is unique too. And their prices are great! |
It's only chaotic when families of 5 insist on shopping together and letting the kids wander around aimlessly. ![]() |
Didn’t have anything you would eat? They sell fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, rice, nuts, milk, eggs, frozen fruit, frozen vegetables, pasta, canned tuna, potato chips, chocolate…what exactly were you looking for? |
You will not be missed at Trader Joe's. One less person clogging up the aisles. Go back to Safeway for your kraft mac and cheese. |
OMG OP! You described exactly how I feel about TJ except I could never pinpoint it like you did. Just chaos all the time. Plus I can never find anything I like there.
Aldi is way less hectic, and now they have self-checkouts, making it not such a slow checkout process. TBH, I cook everything myself, and TJ is not for that kind of a foodie person. |
DP. But their produce, meat, and fish are overpriced. Why would I go there for the meats when I can get them cheaper at Safeway |
They are all too small and never have enough parking. Not to mention crowds. I won't shop there. |
Their workers all look like they are one body piercing away from being an Antifa operative. Not exactly the type that are good at imposing order on chaos. |
Yeah you shouldn't go there. Go to a real American grocery story where your feefees have a safe space. |
No one needs you to go. |
TJ? Costco?
Nobody goes there. It's too crowded. |
Oh no, wherever will you get your daily dose of stranger spit? |
YES about the parking lots. This has been the case at every TJ’s I have been to in the DMV, and two in the tri-state area. Why is this? Why are the parking lots universally awful for Trader Joe’s? |
I drive past two Trader Joe's to get to a "good" Trader Joe's. |
