Senior pranks

That’s funny

Kinda lame

THis sounds pretty harmless. I'm known in my family as "no fun" because I HATE pranks -- anything that is mean or causes damage for "fun" seems to me not at all fun. But a campout does seem kind of fun.

If I'm that teacher, I laugh and then call in sick when there is no parking. I'm not taking metro and I'm not paying to park

So you would commit timecard fraud instead of paying $10 to park? Love your passion and integrity.

Why wouldn’t the teacher just park in the student lot….?

Not all schools have enough parking for all all students who drive to school.

Right - but the teachers arrive earlier.

At my senior's high school (not B-CC), senior skip day was not-so-secretly coordinated with administration.

That's great. Go Northwood!

Einstein had a “for sale” banner covering their sign this morning, courtesy of “deez nutz realty” or some such. There was another one hanging from the school, but I couldn’t see what it said.

Now this is a good and funny prank!

Imagine thinking everything kids do is to get you lol
The point of senior pranks is to build solidarity as a group at a turning point in their lives. That it's a school prank is appropriate bothe because they are a group of school people but also as a statement of no longer being under subjugation of high school. It's about them not about you

There are zero consequences for behavior now (thank you RJ!) Why would there be any for this?

I agree the that point is solidarity and to signal no longer being under the thumb of school administrator. I'm just saying with that as the premise, you can't expect to not have consequences. The thrill of the senior prank is pissing admin off and attempting to get away with it scot-free. Usually, this is why the seniors doing the prank disguise their identity, so admin don't know who to blame for the incident.

I remember this joke from the TV Series “Square Pegs”.

Not that early. I'm the poster whose kid had the very pregnant teacher who had to hike blocks to school.
