Looking for same |
I looked up every Virginia rec here and the only board certified derm I saw was Barry.

NW DC, easy access from NoVa, Dr Pinell (near AU). She removed moles from my face, no scaring! You have to keep out of the sun afterwards, I would not do in May, I would wait until September

I'd probably not put off a mole removal for 4 months if a derm recommends removal. But we have close melanoma family history. |
Really? 5 second google search Dr. Patricia Lucey is a specialty care physician board certified in dermatology. She joined Inova Medical Group after graduating from residency. She completed a year-long fellowship in cutaneous oncology/melanoma at the Washington Hospital Center/Washington Cancer Institute, focusing on the detection and management of pigmented lesions, melanoma and other skin cancers. |
Apparently, you did not look all of them up. Sylvia Suarez is board certified in both general and pediatric dermatology. |
I'd absolutely go to a PS for mole removal--even on the body if you notice the scars. They are just better at suturing than derms. |
yikes - everyone recommended who takes my insurance and accepting new patients.(although I thought the Suarez was only in MD) |
I'm really surprised she doesn't come up on my Care First search. |
Masri Fridling is board certified |
I had my facial moles removed by Dr Mary Ella Carter. At Sibley. A year later and no scar. $600 per mole without insurance. |
No. She is in McLean. |
For the Dr Patricia Lucey rec, can you tell me if you saw her at INOVA or Tamjidi?
|
I have learned that the CareFirst website of doctor info is really bad. I just double-checked the website and it says "Gayle D Masri Fridling has no available board certification information". Another doc recommended here did not come up in my search of "dermatologist" but their names came up when I searched for them specifically. So, thanks for the info! |
