Should I Accept This Job Offer?

I recently had to choose between two employers, one of which very obviously was NOT family friendly and one of which prided itself on being family friendly and had a host of examples for how I could achieve good work/life balance at their organization.

The employer that clearly was not family friendly paid more ... a LOT more. And oh, it was tempting.

But in the end, I took the family friendly gig. Because I HAVE a family. And I'm not living to work, I'm working to live.
