Anyone following the viral Harvard University *Extension School* controversy?

Which she probably stole from someone else.

Harvard Business Publishing or some other arm runs corporate training programs that result in Harvard certificates that people also tend to represent carelessly on LinkedIn and resumes.

I think it makes a bad impression so I don't put my Harvard certificate on external resumes. The class was thorough but pretty generic and the interface portal was crappy.

Don’t shoot the messenger.

Probably teases out his motives. Insecure striver who “only” has a Georgetown degree. An Ivy reject with status envy. So much envy the pathetic buys a Harvard online degree in 2022 while living in million dollar home in Washington state. A wannabe desperate to belong, seething with envy.

Harvard Extension School loooooong pre-dates Claudine Gay. Get a grip.

They don’t then go on a bad-faith campaign attacking the institution president’s academic integrity. If you’re going to sling arrows, you better sure your bow can withstand controversy.

I call on Stefanik to release all of her Harvard coursework. I want to check for any evidence of plagiarism.

Because it's not a scam.

It’s essentially a University of Phoenix online degree. But the thirsty nitwits who buy the degree run around a defrauding people and misrepresenting their credential. Phoenix alums are far more humble about their joke degree.

Agree. Harvard was going downhill long before they promoted Gay. She is merely the most egregious symptom of the disease.

Hey man, I am not the one saying that Rufo's degree was grift, talk to the OP.

“Harvard is running a University-of-Phoenix-level diploma mill” is not the own you think it is. Harvard and the “we went to real Harvard” snobs are the ones coming out of this looking way worse than Rufo.

So Gay was in charge of giving out fraudulent degrees. I mean, she was the president, right?

I couldn't be happier that the same academic lightweights at schools like Harvard that try to cram their half-baked leftist ideas about "anti-racism" and "equity" down everyone else's throats turn out yet again to be the most status-obsessed jerks on the planet and have a meltdown when someone supposedly doesn't appropriately caveat their Harvard degree. Couldn't happen to a bigger bunch of narcissists and hypocrites.

A Harvard extension degree is nothing like a real Harvard degree. The program is a money maker for Harvard. Not surprised that Rufo was being deceptive. He is an ass with no intellectual heft

There is nothing wrong with these online degrees as long as they are listed properly.

+1. “I got a grievance studies degree from Harvard and thus am entitled to publicly look down upon the HES crowd when they demonstrate that they do not know their place vis-a-vis their betters” is a colossal self-own. Pro tip: if you have to explicitly talk about how high status you are, you aren’t. I freely admit that I went to way worse schools, so no dog in this fight, either.
