NP. Was the series "The Way We Live Now"? That's a brilliant, prescient period piece -- both the TV adaptation and the Anthony Trollope novel from which it's adapted. That was the first place I ever saw Cillian Murphy. My DD thought he was gorgeous in it and still thinks he's a dish! (I'm agnostic as he's not my type re: looks but I think he's a terrific actor.)

Anyone who loves a good British period piece, especially one that's intelligent about human nature, greed and ambition, should see (or better yet, read) "The Way We Live Now."

Thanks for this. Listened to nearly all of Trollope on Audible in 2 years of Covid- fell in love with books (and with narrator/actor Timothy West.) I can’t believe the years I spent re-reading Austen, Galsworthy, Forster and Eliot without knowing of his existence.

While watching Oppenheimer, I kept noticing that he looked short and slight compared to everyone else. It was even a bit distracting. I think he was good looking but has not aged well.
