DCUM at its best. Didn't ever think about the possibility of camel milk.

How much was it before?

Can we stop with the " flyover" country comment. It is very divisive and dismissive

No wonder that guy in Starbucks was swearing about the Republicans after he gave his order to the barista. She’s worried now this whole thing will affect her tips. Thanks camel robbers!

Well, I’m from there. I use it as short hand to refer to areas that are not considered “frou frou” by DCUM. And also you literally fly over it if you are going to LA, so many people do fly over it ever day as a factual matter. But I’m happy to have another term. I don’t think most people from these states are actually offended though.

Why are adults drinking milk?

I remember camel milk from my Dubai days. It is apparently a very distinctive taste and didn't have wide appeal.

I mean, maybe there's a camel shortage, OP. Supply chain issues! Ever think of that???

I don’t eat (or drink) processed foods (or drinks). Except wine. I drink wine.

If OP really wants camel milk, she can probably check any nearby middle eastern stores. There is at least one in Fairfax that carries it. I don't know the price since I don't drink camel milk.

Yes. But have you ever tried to milk a 30 dollar camel? Trust me, it is worth it to leave it to a professional.

No one’s heard of it because the ‘Got Camel?’ ad campaign flopped

Put a monocle on it and give it a tax break.

Yes, this crack was seriously underappreciated.
