Do you wear underwear with workout pants

Anonymous
Yes. I only want cotton against my lady bits, not synthetic fabric.

Nope. Always commando. And I have three kids too.

I find it bizarre that ladies wear a party liner to workout in? Why?

Sweat and pee.

We need to fix the pee situation. No one should be peeing on themselves…

Yes, I wear cotton underwear and a panty liner. As I've gotten older I sweat from the crotch in buckets. And, yes, I know it's not pee because I only occasionally do that when I sneeze unexpectedly.lz and all the sweat is coming from my thigh fold area. Would never go commando, as anything I was sitting on would be soaked with sweat.

Yes I have always worn underwear with leggings and other workout gear. The only time I don't is when I take dance classes and wear a leotard, and I only wear leotards with lined gussets (plus usually worn over or under tights or leggings as well).

Most workout clothes are designed to be worn with underwear.

I mean... a lot of women are working on it, but this is a very typical consequence of giving birth. I'm to the point where it doesn't happen to me anymore, but the year or so after I gave birth, it happened all the time and I often wore liners just to prevent anything embarrassing. It's super common.

I was able to repair my pelvic floor on my own via exercise, but I used to be a physical trainer and had a very strong core prior to having a baby, plus knew how to approach it. Most women would nee to see a PT for this and insurance is terrible about providing coverage for it (in other countries, all women are entitled to work with a PT for this kind of repair work and it's free).

If this has never happened to you, you either have never given birth or got very lucky. I feel lucky because it was short-lived for me. Most women I know still have this issue a decade or more after having their last baby.

No, I do not like underwear nor socks and wear neither when I workout (4 days/wk). Make sure you eliminate hair down there if you want to smell less. I swim after running so I am not a fan of hair anyways. If I have to crunch my cardio before I hit the pool and do laps I might wear my swimsuit under my workout leggings. But, otherwise, it's no underwear for me. Now, on period days, I just wear a tampon and maybe a light liner into my lined shorts (they have built-in mesh underwear). But, I rarely have cycles as the IUD got rid of most of them.

I don’t wear underwear with running shorts that have built in underwear. I do wear underwear with running tights. I do not wear underwear with cycling shorts.

Is it because the skort has built in underwear?

Yes, of course. Way, way too many women don’t realize how transparent their leggings are. It’s not fun for the rest of us.
