Have Tate’s cookies become bland?

Yes! My son got a bag in his stocking and I keep begging him for them!

I got a bag of oatmeal raisin and they are still super addictive.

I agree the chocolate chip seem sort of off.

Isn't the real reason because certain trans fats were banned? I heard that's why all the cookies got very bad all of a sudden.

I'm not some amazing baker, but homemade chocolate cookies are so, so much better than any boxed cookie. I just can't buy boxed cookies because they're disappointing (except oreos!)

The isolated chocolate chips don’t even really have a chocolate taste. And no, I didn’t lose my taste from Covid. The ingredient list looks the same as it used to, so maybe they haven’t changed, it’s just always been a pretty bland cookie? I don’t know.

They are gross bake your own.
Tasty has an easy recipe takes like ten minutes in a bowl plus refrigeration for half hour. Have kids help and freeze them .pull out whenever microwave10 seconds or toaster oven for a min or two Omg so good

I’ve never understood the weird East Coast fascination with Tate’s. Bland and just average at best.

A mention of ginger cookies made me long for Carr’s ginger lemon cremes. Does anyone know if they have been discontinued or have an update?

Package cookies were once good? I'd rather abstain than eat cookies that have been sitting on a shelf for God-knows how long.
