The drug use was doctor administered to out her in a sleepy state. In Blonde she was constantly depicted as hating her role and believing they were trampy roles. This is the opposite of any other work or research done on MM.
But normal viewer can see that. This movie was grossly overdone to make MM the powerless victim of every person she had in her life. |

I also am glad that I didn’t actually pay any money to see this in a movie 🍿 theatre.
I wouldn’t say it was movie theatre quality but was perfect for Netflix. I hope this makes sense…..?? The actress who portrayed Marilyn was outstanding! I have watched a TON of Marilyn Monroe movies, etc. & this actress did an unprecedented performance. Her look, mannerisms + emotions were so on point. I think she should definitely be nominated for an Academy Award for her extraordinary acting. |
