The cost benefit of VLP was NOT worth it. The amount of money spent on it for the number of the community served made no sense. At all. |

I'm on the coronavirus response team at work. We are managing a response involving 3K employees, most highly educated, and it's a complete sh!tshow every day. I cannot imagine what it must be like having ragey, entitled, self-appointed experts like Arlington parents Monday morning quarterbacking your job every day. |
I don't agree with everything Duran has done but he's 1000% times better than the gym teacher. We are lucky to have him.
He's already fixed a lot of problems that existed long before he got here. Some things are on him, like VLP. But no one is perfect and it's a pandemic. Let's hope the a-hole parents don't drive him out. |
What exactly has he fixed? |
The guy thinks he’s still in Trenton. We should make that a reality. |
Plus +2. I seriously cannot imagine what it must be likely to deal with the super-entitled parents here. Frankly, I’m relieved he hasn’t left yet. |
Everyone is having an equitably sh!tty educational experience. Equal outcomes are all that matters any more, so by that metric he wins. |
Where do all of these sh1thead parents come from? ^^^ |
I’d like to know too. What has he fixed? |
And you consider yourself better, despite the name calling? |

If everyone fails, the achievement gap is gone! |
APS admin here. What makes me scared is the plan for grading equity. How are kids going to learn to take responsibility if we take away all deadlines and just let them redo everything over and over? |
Yes, I’m not raging about fiction. |
