Please help me feed my family for 10 days without an oven or stove

Also, this is where you ask a neighbor or nearby friend for help. Ask them to boil a whole box of rotini and toss with butter or olive oil. Then use that throughout the week for the kids. You can heat in the microwave, add whatever sauce etc.

This is also when toaster waffles or microwave pancakes come in handy. Buy pre-cooked hardboiled eggs, etc.

Easy mac for the kids too. It's gross and they love that stuff.

Canned soup!

Go to Target and get a two-burner electric cooktop for $50. That will be a perfectly acceptable stovetop substitute for a week.

For another $50, get a toaster oven.

It's not ideal, but with those two things you can cook pretty much anyting.

Just get the hotplate/burner. You HOPE it's only ten days, but it could be longer. It will open up options: pancakes, grilled cheese, eggs....

Or ask your neighbors if anyone has one you can borrow for a couple weeks.

I agree with everyone saying get a hot plate/burner. I got an induction one on Amazon about 10 years ago when we were putting in a new kitchen-I mention it was induction because it heated up very quickly and I thought that was a plus. I still use it occasionally!
When my stove broke once. And sometimes when I'm cooking a holiday dinner and need more than 4 burners, it comes in handy.

When my children were older teens and were home alone and wanted to cook something, I had them use the induction burner rather than the gas stove.

I make pasta with sauce in my instant pot. Best part is no need to strain the noodles!

1 pound of pasta
1 pound of ground meat
24 oz jarred sauce
24 oz water
1 onion
Other veggies as desired

Sauté onion and meat until cooked through. Add the dry noodles on top (make sure they don’t touch the bottom of the pot because they will stick, they should be on top). Empty a jar of sauce on top, fill that jar with water, dump the water onto the pasta. Make sure you cover all the pasta on top with sauce, or it won’t cook.

Set it on manual for half the time it says to cook the pasta on the package. Release the pressure and open the lid as soon as the timer goes off.

Use the toaster oven to make pizza bread.

I used to go to Trader Joe's and get their sliced loaf of white pane, a jar of their pizza sauce (or just regular spaghetti sauce), a bag of shredded mozzarella, pepperoni circles (salami too if you like that), and black olives (my kids love olives).

Toast a few slices of bread in the oven for one minute. You want to toast the bread first to make it slightly crispy or your pizza bread will be soggy. Take them out, slather the pizza sauce on bread with a spoon, add the cheese (I also sprinkle on parmasan cheese, basil and parsely flakes, and a tiny bit of peppercorn from the shaker on top of the mozz), and then add the requested toppings. Put back in toaster on the bake setting around 375 and check every minute until you get the hang of how long to make it to your taste.

My teens have been asking for this lately because I stopped making it for awhile, so it's on the brain.

Really? For 10 days you can’t think of anything to eat that doesn’t require a stovetop or oven.

Costco, Trader Joe’s, and the grocery store have literally hundreds of options for frozen, prepared and microwaveable foods. Yes, there are even frozen pancakes that can be heated up in a toaster or microwave. There are frozen pasta dishes and Mac n cheese. They even have punches of rice or pasta that can be cooked in the microwave for 90 seconds.

Couscous (microwave the water) and chicken sausage (toaster oven).

Egg sandwiches - scramble an egg in a bowl and microwave that. Toast an English muffin, then add a slice of ham on one side and a slice of cheese on the other and toast again.

My kids only ate raw veggies at that age but you can steam just about any veggie in the microwave: broccoli, frozen corn, frozen peas, carrots (cut into rounds).

I would 100% buy a Coleman propane camping stove today. Probably $100 or less, has 2 burners, can use outside only though.
