HGC testing and Curriculum 2.0

Since Curriculum 2.0 is putting the breaks on accelerated curriculum throughout MCPS, what content will the kids be tested on for HGC admissions? Will the tests now be geared towards the material that is covered in 2.0? Will the kids already in HGC be at an advantage as far as more challenging content is concerned?

The third graders who were just admitted have been under 2.0 (mine was under 2.0 last year as well, because his school chose to follow it). It's not an achievement test though- it's not like the MSA. So I'm not sure how the curriculum changes would affect the test.

Agree. It is mostly intelligence testing.

So 2.0 is irrelevant.

I don't understand the bolded question and how it relates to your other question.
