If your DC was rejected or WL as a sibling, how did the school notify you?

We got a phone call from the admissions director before we received the letter.

We got no heads up from Sidwell as alum applicants. They did handwrite a note on the rejection letter to call with questions.

We did not consider pulling the older children. They were happy at the school. No need to create upheaval in their lives.

No. It wasn't DCs first choice school and I wasn't really interested in what they had to say.
