Food trucks

Is there a blog/website somewhere that lists all the food trucks out there in the DC universe these days? And does anyone know any food trucks that regularly park in close-in MoCo - like Chevy Chase or Bethesda?

Yes, there's always one at the women's farmers market, and often two. Last weekend there was a BBQ truck in addition to the 1-3-5.

As opposed to the Ethiopian bahn mi sandwhich? Or the Polish bahn mi sandwhich?

I wish those food trucks would pay the same taxes as brick and mortar establishments.

Maybe the B & M restaurants should pay the gasoline costs and all the licensing fees.

They do now collect and submit sales tax (at least the ones in DC have to).

If you have a problem with them, take it up with the city government. They're following the laws and paying the taxes and fees they are required to. Do you also think that carts in the mall should pay the same rent as stores?

If you go to this site you can also sign up for a daily email of the food truck locations. It comes out around 11:20 everyday.

What taxes, specifically, do you want them to pay?
