David Samuels TNR piece on Obama

I wanted to post a link to David Samuels' challenging, insightful piece on Obama in The New Republic. In it, Samuels relates Obama to Ralph Ellison's Invisible Man, a novel I read in my formative years and have never been able to get out of my head.
