Success on first IVF cycle?

| I'm curious how many people had success on their first iVF cycle? I'm on day 3 of shots in my first cycle, and my RE gave me 60% odds of success with my age (28) and condition (male factor). We are having IVF with ICSI w. SGFC.... I'm afraid to get my hopes up, but I want to be optimistic... any success stories? |

Are you me? Very similar diagnosis. First try, worked. My friend in FL had a similar diagnosis and the second time worked for her.
Honestly, I think SG has a great lab. Good luck! |

| I had success on the first cycle with like 40% odds or something - 38 yrs old, unexplained fertility, also at SG. They had to tweak my medicine constantly and switch trigger at last minute and everything worked. Now pregnancy is kicking my ass. I wish I hadn't spent so much time worrying during my cycle! |

IVF worked for us the on the first try at 31 and then again at 34.
Given 60% chance of it working. Unexplained infertility but tried naturally 2 years each time. |

| It worked for us and we were quote 50/50 odds when we started the cycle. We had a horrible response and cycle and still were successful. GL! |

| First time worked for us. I was 37 at the time with unexplained infertility. Our DD is turning 2 next month. GL! |

| First cycle worked and we have 4YO twin DDs -- I was 36, we had male factor (husband is a cancer survivor). |

OP here- thank you for the encouragement. I'm on day 4 of my injections, and when I woke up I could feel my enlarged ovaries... v. strange sensation, but I love knowing that things are "moving right along"

Only difference between you an me OP is that I was 29. Success on my first round.

1st try success at 37. MF and ICSI.
Didn't know we had MF until Urologist confirmed DH condition. Didn't have a chance to do anything, straight to IVF. My DS is 7 month now. |
