dirtiest campaign in American history

That subject line is not me talking about McCain's campaign. It has been surprisingly dirty for a guy with McCain's reputation, but not as bad as some other recent ones. Look, I'll grant that Obama stretches the truth now and then; and I thought jumping on the 100 years and bomb, bomb Iran was cheap; and I can understand how Cindy McCain might have a vantage point from which Obama's sins get magnified beyond McCain's. But I am totally stymied when I try to understand how she can possibly forget the slime that W threw at her family in the 2000 SC primary! Doesn't she understand that when you overstate your case so outrageously you lose credibility?

Cindy McCain is such a twit. What the hell is she talking about? And those comments are pretty entertaining coming from a drug addict who stole from her charity and then used her clout to conceal it/a woman who had an affair with a married man with kids...not sure she should be talking about anyone being dirty.

I have never been able to figure out why J McC and C McC get a pass on the affair. People excuse him for his philandering because his POW experience was traumatic. But she was a 20-something heiress without any apparent trauma behind her, who had an affair with a married man with three kids. His future-ex wife was a former model who was critically injured in a car crash, spent six months in the hospital, had 23 surgeries, and came away from the ordeal 5 inches shorter. What could possibly be sleazier than sleeping with that woman's husband, and with the father of three children whose mother was so badly injured? This from the family values party.

But she goes to church so she must be okay.

And she never said that she wasn't proud of America. Her faith in the country must have been tested often, as the heiress to a $100 million fortune.
