Any tips for someone going from a normal worker to being hired as a company executive for a start up

This appears to be happening in the next few months.

Anyone experience working as a normal worker bee and then being brought on as a company owner company executive?

Any tips, experiences etc..?

What do you do with your new money? Do you save it, pay off the house, etc... should we plan to just save it in case we are between jobs? It seems that executive positions are far and fewer.

Don't do your employees work, delegate, follow up, but do not the work, even if you can do it faster. Clear communication. Judge workers on production.

be careful....pay close attention to the money. How much is going in and out. You don't want to be left holding the bag when the dream IPO never materializes.

"Executive"? For a start-up?

You will probably be doing exactly the same work but with a fancier title and more over time.
