"There is a special place in hell reserved for women who do not support other women." Did anyone else hear her read this from her Starbuck's cup. Made me so angry. So because she is a woman I need to align myself with her and support what she believes. It made me so angry to listen to her bullshit explanation of a quote taken out of context. |
Then, why don't you turn your anger into donations at barackobama.com? I have done 3-4 times and will do it again before election day.
I don't want a dumb b*tch in office, undoing the progress women have made during several generations. Winks & scrunching my nose don't promote my interests or those of other women in professional life. |
They will not win.
Last day to encourage your friends in Virginia and Maryland to register. Please talk to all your friends who may have teenagers coming of age for this election. |
DC voters too, I think. |
Sad to say, but that's how he'll win. Homeless, criminals, and teens. |
If Palin is right, then I'll see her in hell. She's done nothing to help the cause of intelligent, sincere women in their quest for equality. Instead she plays the coquette. I'll do nothing to support her.
|
It turns out she misread one word: It said "help" rather than "support". It may seem like a minor difference, but in this case, helping her might consist of giving her advice on where to learn something about world affairs, but it does not have quite the implication that "support" has in a political campaign. Albright, I am quite sure, is not supporting her, but would most likely be willing to help her get back to her job as Governor of Alaska. |
I'm sorry, but I don't understand. That's how who will win? Who is counting on "homeless, criminals, and teens" in order to win? |
Yep, our little troll is claiming that Obama will win with the help of that hugevoting population of "homeless, criminals, and teens" and hoping we'll all bite. Ha! Ralph Stanley, a highly respected old-time bluegrass musician who has endorsed Obama, would be surprised to find out he's a homeless, teen-aged criminal! |
OK, you got me. I forgot to include Lindsay Lohan, P-Diddy, Martin Sheen, and Sharon Stone. |
Bigot. |
Hey, chicken hawk, please elaborate. I really want to hear this one. |
Did Palin really misquote her? That is awesome in a way, since once again she hass twisted something around... I mean, how do you take a quote from a Starbuck's cup and turn it into a lie? This woman will do anything to twist things to her benefit. |
Here's Dr. Albright's comment on the situation:
"Though I am flattered that Governor Palin has chosen to cite me as a source of wisdom, what I said had nothing to do with politics. This is yet another example of McCain and Palin distorting the truth, and all the more reason to remember that this campaign is not about gender, it is about which candidate has an agenda that will improve the lives of all Americans, including women. The truth is, if you care about the status of women in our society and in our troubled economy, the best choice by far is Obama-Biden." http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/10/05/palin-misquotes-albright_n_131967.html?page=19&show_comment_id=16479857#comment_16479857 |
And Obama is palling around with terrorists. WTF??? Their desperation is becoming so obvious, considering this past week Obama gained 52 electoral votes and McCain 0. McCain/Palin will be waving the white soon enough. |
