What’s going on at DCI?

DC Bilingual routinely sends communication home to parents in Spanish.

Mostly needy low SES kids in the schol. No real honors MS classes. No requirement that students who stay through HS do International Bacclaureate Diploma work.

What did you expect, DCI is a lottery admissions school in the District serving mostly low SES kids (unlike Wash Latin or BASIS).

YY and LAMB are both feeders, so plenty of high SES, but they are found in the Chinese track and the advanced math classes.

Every email/communication sent home to parents at LAMB is in English and Spanish. And every parent event at the school that I've been to has been presented in both English and Spanish. I am not sure about the PTO meetings---I haven't been able to attend one yet.
