Slightly below Emory/Notre Dame.

Nothing wrong with that.

I agree but the second tier is not elite. UVA and Umich, Wellesley are the very bottom of elite imo. Like scape the barrel bottom.

UVA is way overrated on this thread. It has over 25,000 students for a reason.

Most students at BC had their first choice be Georgetown or Notre Dame I'm sure.

UVA hater. UVa is also better, NYU too.

UVA and BC are the same tier to anyone not affiliated with UVA or BC.

Not at all. UVA has a much better reputation among people who matter and the alumni connections are better. It’s also ridiculous how much “community” and “student life” is thrown around when boosting BC when Boston has the strictest bars and there are no fraternities. If you want to have a couple shots in your dorm room and call it a wild Friday night at 11pm then go to BC.

I don’t know what you’re talking about, and your response is mostly just speculation about “people who matter.” They’re the same thing.

BC has horrible student life once you move beyond watching thugs on a football field or basketball court. There are no fraternities and Boston bars actually card you to see if you’re 21.

People who matter don’t hold BC in high regard or in the same regard as NYU WUSTL UCLA Emory. Do I need to be clearer? What confuses you? Do Jesuit schools no longer teach logic and reasoning?

More nonsensical bs. The first paragraph has nothing to do with school, just your personal crusade against Boston, which I don’t care about.

Still no actual analysis, pure speculative BS. I’m not affiliated with Boston College, but I can reason you have serious emotional issues

Maybe, but most of them pay in state as opposed to the fortune it costs to go to BC (student loans don’t make you rich)

Got it, student life has no place when assessing schools or where to go. Please be clearer next time.

You take this forum and BC way too seriously. 😳

Where are the mods? How can you let BC booster run roughshod over others and insult anyone who says BC isn’t a top ten school?

I’ve never seen someone so delusional and trying so hard to get a response out of someone.

MIT is rigorous and intense. I’m not going to rank it lower or say it isn’t peers with more “fun” schools, because that’s a silly take. Your posts are silly, and you live off of trolling people with your crappy ideas, because it fills the loneliness in your heart and covers up your overwhelming issues AA a failure.

No when analyzing schools I don’t weigh “ability to get away with a fake id” over education. Sorry if that’s not what “the people who matter” want.

Nothing wrong with that.

The first term would have to be 35 national universities and 20+ SLACs then. BC can’t even beat Illinois and UF in rankings.

Different cohorts - public vs private.

Is Berkeley better than Northeastern? Or are they different cohorts and can’t be compared?

The fact that you're even putting UC Berkeley and Northeastern in the same sentence shows what a dufus you are.

“Is northeastern the same level as one of the best private research universities in the world with towering faculty awards and prominent graduate researchers?”

Hmm. I’m not sure.🤣

What private school?

U.S. News and hiring managers at any reputable company have disagreed for decades. Continue to tell us how some random Catholic school in New England with a concrete campus is better than UVA.

BC shills have consistently pointed to community life and student well being as a reason to go to BC. I didn’t bring it up.

MIT actually has a very hard partying weekend life on and off campus that is more fun than BC.

Rich kids who make their mark go to bars on weekends. So do brilliant PhDs without two pennies to rub together. Only a troll stays in their dorm all day like at BC after fanboying some mediocre linebacker.

NP. "Concrete campus"? Sounds like you are confusing BC with BU.

Brighton and Chestnut Hill (the part BC is in) aren’t scenic. Overbuilt and full of strip malls with vape stores. At least BU’s concrete is in a city.

Np, they have fun off campus at MIT but BC students don’t have access to that same fun? I’m sniffing a ton of BS from these posts, and think some of you are Russian bots. The lack of reasoning skills is telling.
