Ugh. Bidens negotiating against us all. |
Need to preserve those $100k gate operator jobs! |
Because idiots are panic buying supplies that aren't usually imported, but not panic buying things that are usually imported. They should be panic buying European wine and cheese. |
More important than whatever your job is. |
Eh, most of the longshoremen I know are crap with money, and are also Trump supporters. |
Maybe, but that job doesn't deserve 150K.Teachers do though. |
Depends. Is it like a realtor job where you have a 90 day course, pass a test and are good to go? |
Laughable these workers are demanding a 50% raise and 100% guaranteed job security when no other job anywhere ever has that....when the company can just fire them all and replace with automation and give a raise to those laborers that are actually required to run the machines. BYE. |
It's a fancy name for parking lot attendant. There are no requirements. |
They turned down a 50% raise, 300% increase in retirement benefits and 100% guaranteed job security. |
And no automation ever clause |
Like the tow truck license mafia, the overpaid “jobs” are only for family members. |
Again $39 is the top wage. No one under 40 is making that. Several cites to this above. Speaking of which, where are the cites to the average longshoremen making $300k a year? Someone keeps insisting this is so. The math just isn’t there. Even at the top rate of $39 a hour with a ton of overtime they aren’t going much above 6 figures. Where did this myth begin? |
They turned down a 50 percent raise. They are demanding a 77 percent raise and no automation ever. And they will both destroy the economy and ensure a Trump victory unless their demands are met. Biden should use his authority to fire them all and fast-track a modern automated port system like those used in Europe and Asia. The fact that a cabal of morons can stop nearly all trade in the US is a systemic failure that needs to be corrected. And Democrats need to stop pandering to unions. They're all Trumpers anyway. |
