Yes! If I am at breakfast and there is maple syrup on the table, I add it to my coffee.

There was an Entemann’s cake called Louisiana Crunch Cake (low-fat). I used to love it but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it now. There were also mini chocolate chip Snackwell cookies.

Are Combos still out there? Loved those things.

The salad bar at Wendy’s. I ate there with my parents at least once a week and it was great. Clean, fresh, and inexpensive.

I was at a Wendy’s today for lunch and was reminded of how life used to be. Maybe I’m just getting old, but so many things now just suck compared to how they used to be.

My cousin worked at Wendy’s in the 80s, and when she asked what I wanted after she was off work, the answer was ALWAYS a salad from the salad bar.

I think jello pudding pops were just frozen jello pudding so you can still make the boxed pudding and then freeze it in popsicle forms.

I've tried. It's not the same. The consistency is wrong.

The original had that super thin layer of ice on the outside.

Precisely! And you could flake it off in sheets with your teeth, very delicately.

In any case, as a teenager my favorite ice cream was Ben and Jerry’s White Russian. I’ve missed it for at least 25 years and have never found a similar flavor.

But if they brought it back my 50-year-old tastebuds would likely find it too sweet.

You are going to dis all of Jewish deli food?

You are gross.

Yes, as noted above. Best road snack food for car trips, IMO.

I loved the Snackwell mini chocolate chocolate chip cookies in the 100 calorie bags. I used to take them to work for snacks.
