Tilden MS

The North Bethesda MS principal was also an AP at Farquhar before becoming a principal. This guy trained a lot of people that get bad reviews on this forum.

Everyone gets bad reviews on DCUM. It's in our nature.

What other MS get 20 pages of complaints that mention the principal numerous times as part of the problem?

Complaining here will do nothing. Call/write to the director if there are legit complaints.

This is really bad. The responsible is Ms Hopkins, the principal and MCPS (She is new, she was never a Principal before).
The result from last year, many teachers left school, environment is toxic, it was very challenging year for the stuff and for the students.

She was an AP at Farquhar. Sounds like she picked up their poor leadership style.

This is terrible. I'm speechless about how low can it get.

+1 Problems are real. Parents, kids, teachers everyone is saying that there are problems.

Some posters were blaming parents that their kids did not get invitation for some Jewish celebration and that's why parents were complaining. Now they may even say that Teachers are not invited for Jewish celebration that's why Teachers are giving bad reviews, lol. Luxmanor community seems toxic. Kids are learning at home how to exclude others and many in Luxmanor community defend that practice.

Teachers are not complaining that they didn’t get a bat mitzvah invite. Teachers complain about working conditions, including entitled parents that admin is kowtowing to.

Wow, MCPS and BOE is passively promoting sexual harassments and bullying by ignoring so many complaints. Entire mechanism is limited to PR show.

Community and admin is toxic. There is no hope.

Looks like many of the good teachers have left

I see a lot of work going on with PTSA and every teacher position is filled except one special Ed specialist.

Parents not showing up is still a problem...hope everyone here starts trying to get involved and not just complaining

The best way to define Tilden is that it’s the West Virginia University of MCPS

Ha. That may be the best description of the school I’ve ever heard!
