Anyone try Bar Method?

I noticed one is opening in Bethesda and want to try it. Anyone have experience with Bar Method?

Have done Barre3 and physique57, not a huge fan but give it a try. It's a pretty low key workout.

Its good for stretching and toning of legs. Upper body part is ridiculously boring, unless you find curling 5 lb dumbells difficult. You can't do just part of a class or take classes just for lower body, at least that is what bar method on g street says and I think they own bethesda location. Might not be on g street but it is near ct.

Bar Method is an AMAZING work out. It's anything but low key, but it does depend on how hard you are willing to push yourself.

It is essentially interval training--the workout is designed to raise and lower your heart rate as you alternate between strength moves that work your muscles to shaking fatigue and stretches which elongate your now-warm muscles so that wrap closely around the bone, giving you a long and lean look!

Most importantly, it is safe and effective. All Bar Method exercises are approved by physical therapists to make them not only safe for your joints, but more efficient.

I would not hesitate to give it a try -- it can not only completely change the way you work out, but it can also change your life! Anyone who takes class consistently knows that is not an exaggeration. Give it a shot!

Real bar method is not low key. Its difficult and never truly gets easy, which is why it is popular.

There are many different barre style workouts with a wide range of difficulty.
