OK, with the new year I am starting to take up running (at this point, really walk-jogging, but I have to start somewhere). Unfortunately, much of my extra weight is in my stomach. The running pants I bought have a waist that hits right at the stomach, and when I run they slowly inch down. It probably looks pretty comical from the outside, to see me running while trying to tug my pants back up to my waist, but it's kind of distracting for me (not to mention it's not exactly the inconspicuous look I'm going for). All the running pants I've seen seem to have the same kind of fit. Drawstrings don't help. Can anyone point me to links with running pants with higher waists, for those of us who need the pants to fit entirely over the extra padding in the front?? Thanks for any help!

I do not know but I have the same problem.

| I like the Power Pant from Lucy. It comes up higher and has an extra panel that helps hold in the jiggle. |

I have these. They go high up and tuck everything in well.

I have the exact same problem and found the Champion Shape Knee Tight. They have a higher-waist with a "tummy panel." I love them.

I do pretty well with the champion c9 running pants from target - wide waistband helps. I think it's pretty key to get something that is pretty tight through the thighs, too.

| Try buying a size smaller. I usually buy a medium if I'm going to wear the pants casually, but I small if I'm going to work out in them so they aren't inching down or rolling over. |
