| So... I love gadgets! And I need to eat healthier and exercise more. Such great raves for the FitBit, so I am considering getting one. I also find that tracking my food is helpful. It seems that FitBit and Lose It sync. Any feedback on this combo? |

FitBit links with a number of sites. I'm not sure which is best for tracking.
I have a FitBit Ultra, but if I could buy another one, I'd buy FitBit One. The smaller version, Zip doesn't track stairs or sleep. Both Zip and One link to your smart phone. |
| Love my fitbit one. Love being able to sync with my phone and computer. I can easily enter food/water/exercise wherever I am |
| Would highly recommend Lose It. Got me serious about calorie restriction and have successfully lost nearly 50 pounds over one year - about a pound a week. |
| I recently purchased a BodyMedia. It tracks the calories I burn during the day, the steps I take and the amount I sleep. In addition, it has an app that allows you to check your stats on your smartphone. Lastly, it syncs with My Fitness Pal, which is a great site for tracking calories eaten. MFP has an app which allows you to scan food labels, making it much easier to enter calories. Plus, it has a huge food database. |

I have a Body Media FIT that I just listed for sale on CraigsList: http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/spo/3563986388.html
Liked it (used it for most of 2012), but no longer need it. Perfect working order, if you're interested. |
