Self Employment Questions for Those Who Know

| I would like to start my own consulting business and am wondering if anyone has suggestions, tips, advice for how to go about setting it up. Someone mentioned self employment taxes. Are there other taxes that I need to be aware of? Do I need to establish an LLC? Do I need to hire an accountant? Any and all advice welcome. TIA. |
