What do you give as Christmas Gift to your staff?

Husband works in corporate. He has a couple people that dots into him -VP level. Suggestions anyone? Gift certifcate I think are more appreciated and useful but how much? Do they have to be the same amount? I told him his secretary, even if crappy and shared should get a decent one- then she'll treat him better. Thanks

Are you a SAHM dictating this? Can't he decide and/or ask colleagues? Ugh.

This is why DH has to confer with DW.

My DH is a partner at a law firm. (I don't know if this is comparable to your DH's position.) He gives his assistant $250. The partners got together last year and decided on an amount so that everyone gave the same and no assistant felt slighted. He gives the lawyers who report to him nice bottles of wine/alcohol. I don't think he would want to give direct reports gift cards since they already get bonuses, but this seems the best idea for support staff. You can get Visa cards so they can spend the money where they want.

Why does he confer with DW, since she doesn't know jack? He might as well confer with my cat.

Am mid/senior at an NGO; I give my 5 reports each a $12-15 bottle of wine with a Barnes/Noble $25 card hung around the top of it with a holiday ribbon.

Let me guess. You don't work either (like OP). There is something so offputting about these women picking out gifts fr their husbsnd's "staff." *shudder*
