I'm all for avoiding HCFS and some of the other 'offensive' dyes, so I bought DD an Unreal Candy Bar from CVS last week. It gave her a really, really bad upset stomach. My guess is that it's the inulin? Or else, maybe it was just a fluke, or my DD is sensitive to something else in there.
Either way, just something to consider, before you buy tons to give out! Maybe try one out for yourself. It was too bad because it seemed like a great alternative, but I'm now hesitant to buy it again. I didn't try any myself, so not sure if it would affect me the same way. Just my 2 cents. |
