| ^ oh, and my contribution to the list of brands: Barbour |
| Admittedly, the Gap summary is me. The Civic is too small for family so we are in a Pilot. |
|
I am also the GAP shopper with the Honda 🤣.
How about H & M |
Typing away in their voluminous animal print tunics and travel pants! |
Damn-- you are really good at this !

Funny. A few years back the team I'm on purchased gift cards from Jos. A. Banks for our GS-15 supervisor for Christmas . It was his favorite store

Lucky Brand should be filed under the Marshall's shopper bit. Marshall's is the only place I know that carries it, and the items are always marked as "irregular" |
Which is so sad, because they were a great brand back in the day. |

Yes, you’re the second wife and you’re damn proud of it. Your husband, whom you call “Boo” privately because his name sounds so unbearably old to you that it physically hurts to say it, loves that you’re southern and damn proud of it. Alpha Delta Pi for life! It’s not for nothing that your bridesmaids all wore perfectly different sky blue dresses! Anyway, your job is to be the second wife and you’re good at it and damn proud of it. The steps are just a skosh younger than you, so you play up the fun, and honestly Ashley is a leeeetle bit on the chunky side so you’re (quietly) teaching her the dieting and working out ropes. You won’t teach her about the darkest stuff, but you don’t want her to hit her senior year already pudgy. Part of being awesomely wealthy and fun and damn proud of it is gifting well. You show up to dinners with a great bottle and sometimes a really fun monogrammed needlepoint bottle bag (not that you did it!), and if it’s too bright for Boo’s old friends’ tastes, well, you’re younger and way more fun than them. Fun is like your middle name, as is excess. Big hair, lots of it, lots of tan (from the pool, whenever possible), bright bright bright colors!!!! It’s not forced, you guys, it’s just fun to wear sparkles in the day time. You should try it. Anyway, Boo is traveling a lot lately, and to the same places he took you when you were dating. |
| I love that Neiman Marcus is one stop shopping. |
You could be a professor of anthropology, you're THAT good! 😂 |
Spot on. I just got my Boden catalog in the mail (old school, of course) and was reminded of how British it is -- albeit in a totally retro way. My mother was British and almost everything in the Boden catalog looks like something she would have worn in the early-mid 1960s. I miss seeing my cousins in London and can't wait to travel to the UK once again when the pandemic is over.

Yes -- uniform is "Boho/Vineyard" print top with shirttail hem, white ankle-length skinny jeans, big hoops and medallion necklace (or Kendra Scott), top-handle bag -- possibly woven. |
I'm 50 and can remember meeting these women 20 years ago when we moved to DC. They still exist? Extraordinary. |
