Makes sense. GOP are obsessed with private parts and what people do with them. Probably a little jealous, too. I’m assuming they’ll have an investigation and the conspiracy theories fired up in no time, since their “can’t afford both steak and payments on the F-150” base don’t have real problems to worry about.

Don’t be an apologist.

This behavior is abhorrent from Republicans, Democrats and independents. People in public office and working for those in public office need to be better. It’s not acceptable regardless of anybody’s political affiliation.

I am glad that Cardin fired him, and that his office took quick action. But this is absolutely a story and should be investigated.

What needs to be investigated here? Seems we have figured out all we need to know, and the young idiot is out and likely done in politics. Move on. Put it on the same shelf in your mind that you put the seditious coup that happened on January 6.

Unprotected sodomy in a hearing room which was reserved by a U.S. senator’s office and shared on homosexual group chats are relevant facts which led to this leaking.

Caligula would be proud

Is this normal behavior among this cohort or is this mental illness or drug addiction? Even aside from the hearing room setting, this young man’s behavior sounds so demonic and self destructive going back several years.

Don’t you think there should be a happy medium of sense and civility between the repressed 50s and the ill-mannered, libertine, self-absorbed deviant activity on display here?

Are you saying it's worse for two men get it on in a video filmed in a Senate hearing room, compared to a man and a woman? Or worse when two people, of whichever genders, aren't using a prophylactic to prevent STIs? How about contraception, should that be taken into account too?

Normal in LGBT circles. Also a mental illness. Also can be combined with drug usage and total lack of any moral standards.

Because it is a nothing burger, something that most of the democrats on the hill do on a daily basis, nothing to discuss.

Now that he has been fired I predict the story will wrap quickly.

Shame he did not resign on Friday and made Cardin have to fire him. Or I guess it would be his LACK of a sense of shame.

I don't think substantive criminal charges can or will be brought. Congress has the holiday recess and new dramas will surely arise.

Weird that he was so high achieving, Phi Beta Kappa, etc. but still appears to have become a sex addict and exhibitionist at such a young age.

I don’t expect it to go away soon. I expect him to file a lawsuits against Miller and the media outlets, as well as a one against Cardin for firing him.

Good luck with that. It will be a very short trial. Then they should make the obnoxious little twit pay fees and court costs.
