McCain apparently got mixed up in an interview with a Latina reporter: http://www.politico.com/blogs/jonathanmartin/0908/McCain_camp_stands_by_tough_talk_on_Spain.html But rather than admit that he misunderstood or made an error, he is standing by his nonsense. To err is human, to refuse to admit it is McBush. |
Hmmm, I can see why he made the mistake. Then again whether he should have or not, being a presidential candidate and all, is another question.
But I guess what worries me more is that he sounds so tired and old in this interview -- like my elderly uncle who is getting frail. I felt sorry for him. Then I felt sorry for myself because he could be my next president! |
He can't hear and he can't remember things. Great. |
And he'd rather say stupid things and then stand by them, rather than admit the problem! |
His campaign called Spain "adversaries." Adversaries! Spain!
He sounded tired and unhinged. As usual. |
yeah, I can really see him burning the midnight oil trying to reform Washington and end corporate greed. he probably falls asleep at the dinner table every night. |
This is getting a bit mean, but I have to say that I was taken aback when I saw a clip of John McCain talking about fish around oil rigs on MSNBC last night. Not that what he said was kind of silly (it was), but he looked and sounded like a shaky 80-year-old. It was disconcerting. |
When he kept doing that creepy laugh, sort of "heh, heh, heh", it reminded me of Dr. Evil from the Austin Powers movies. |
I didn't see the movie, but I agree that the laugh was very strange . . . |
