In case you are not comfortable with Palin as VP, perhaps it will help to know that Todd will be there to advise her:
BTW, was that woman doing an Ellen DeGeneres impression? |
The thread title was supposed to be "to DC", not "do DC". Sarah is the one who will "do" us if she gets here.
OP |
That man literally has nothing to say. I wouldn't even want to have a beer with him because it would all just be uncomfortable silences.
That was the most insipid "interview" I've ever seen. Even if all of those clips were taken out of context, it's still pathetic. |
I can't even watch it, it's so painful. |
Boy, Greta Van Sustern was patronizing!
Maybe Todd could be better at being a "political spouse" but what an insulting interview by Van Sustern! |
You realize Van Susteren is working for Fox News, right? They're on Palin's side. |
Greta is thinking, why did I ever leave CNN?? Are they really paying me enough for this? |
20:14 here -- I can't stand Palin so I'm not complaining because I think the liberal media is out to get her husband. I just think Van Sustern was very patronizing to him. Of course, a more experienced political spouse -- whether Cindy McCain or Michelle Obama -- would have risen above the stupid questions. But Van Sustern might as well have been patting him on the head and saying, "There, there, aren't you a cute first dude? I can't believe you have a brain in your little head." |
"'Todd works good?'" |
I have to say, if someone asked me the same question 50 times, I think SHE was the one missing a screw or two! But yes, "Todd works good" was pretty bad... The man is clearly not used to interviews. |
A question: how will this interview play in blue collar Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan? Asked about his job on the north slope - I work with good people, an honest job, and it has provided well for my family for many years... I think this will play wel. |
It won't play at all. This guy is so far off the radar. |
We will see. Coming from PA, he seemed like he would fit in fine with my brother (a tradesman) or my bil (commercial driver). They too look at their jobs as honest, honorable, and they make their mortgage payments, truck payments ![]() |
