Concord Hill School Summer Camp Chevy Chase

Did anyone use this camp this year? What did you think? Would you recommend it? Thanks.

Hi, DC did this camp and really enjoyed it. It is very laid-back--think simple art projects, water play, etc. The counselors were young teenagers and very sweet. (It's headed by the school's regular preschool teachers; didn't mean to imply that young teens were the ones in charge.) It may be a better camp for three- and four-year-olds rather than five-year-olds, because of the lack of things like swim lessons or major activities. HTH.

Thank you so much for your thoughts, it sounds lovely! Does anyone else have any experiences?

DD (3.5) went and adored it. It was much better than her preschool's camp. They had neat theme weeks (Hawaii week, Cowboy Week) and the art projects and activities focused on the theme. They got popsicles every day (a big plus in her book) and water time every day. The counselors were very, very sweet. And they sang traditional "camp" songs (We are the minnows, the mighty mighty minnows...)
