donations. talking sense to the "on the line" people I know. I would put signs in my yard but don't want to start a heated debate with certain people. |
Since the arrival of Sarah Palin I am thinking about joining the get-out-the-vote effort in Virginia. |
I hear you - if I put a McCain/Palin bumper sticker on my car, I am reasonably confident that my probability of being keyed in the parking lot would increase exponentially. I am considering early (absentee) voting in case I get run over by a truck. |
Keeping my fingers and toes crossed and saying many prayers throughout the day. I don't have the cash or time to donate and everyone I know is already going to vote for the same candidate. I really can't imagine there are that many undecided voters out there. The difference in the candidates is so HUGE that you must feel pulled in one or the other direction even if you are an Independent. |
That's funny. It my neighborhood, there are a roughly equal number of signs for both (which is kind of surprising, really). I wonder if they will have a West Side Story-like showdown. ![]() |
Working in Obama's office, donating money, and canvassing (next week or so). |
What can/should we be doing? Assuming none of us has much time and has donated what we can already... |
donating $$. |
Donating. And I just signed up to do some canvassing and phoning in VA. I have a sign in my yard, but it's DC, so not likely to accomplish much. I am reluctant to use bumper stickers.
I pray also, figuring the God I don't believe in ought to be sensible enough, if She exists, to go with my guy. ![]() |
Voting, and not reminding my husband to register to vote in our new state because I know he'll vote the other way. ![]() |
