I am tired of looking at my "bread" corner on my counter. It looks a mess. Where do you store your bread? Any suggestions are appreciated.
Honestly, most of the year, I store it in the fridge. Although we go through bread pretty quickly, about 75% of the year, humidity makes it mold when stored on the counter, so we just keep it in there year round.
We put ours in the fridge too.
I keep it in the freezer, but why don't you get a breadbin if you want to keep it out?
Yep, fridge. But I remember my grandmother's breadbox--it sat on the counter, about the size of a microwave, and had one of those roll-up doors like an old-fashioned banker's desk. It was really cool, and had plenty of storage inside.
If we have it, microwave. But we don't tend to keep more than a round/loaf around at one time.
^^^ Should add, we very very rarely use the microwave and it's an above counter built in thing so works well as a space saving bread bin for us.
Either the freezer (take out a slice, toast it, eat) or fridge. I'd think it would go bad being left on the counter day after day.
I store mine in the microwave.
