What type of job should you do if you like to help people solve problems?

Well, I like to help people solve problems and I'm a clinical psychologist. I used to be a lawyer. I guess you could say they are both jobs where I help solve people's problems, but the way I go about that is very different now than when I practiced law.

Can you give us a little more info about what you like to do? Are you interested in complex issues? Do you like to give practical advice about things with black and white answers, or do you prefer issues with a lot of ambiguity and complexity? Are you more interested in emotions or in facts? That sort of thing...
