Attractive hanging plant that can't be killed?

Or at least not easily? There's a sunny corner in my kitchen that's crying out for one but my thumb is far from green. Any recommendations?

Not saying it's the prettiest or most unusual, but one of the easiest plants to grow is a philodendron--can adjust to all kinds of light and water conditions.

I have a pothos hanging plant and you just can't kill the thing. Mine is at least ten years old. Just cut it back once in a while.

Here is a article you might find useful:

Pothos is the first one mentioned.

Spider Plant:

Doesn't require a lot of watering.

Seconding the pothos. I am so terrible to my poor pothos, and it just chugs along. Had it for years.

Pothos or Philodendron.

Not the OP, but does anyone know if you can grow the pothos or philodendron in a room with no windows? I have an office w/o natural light that's crying out for a plant.

Philodendron

There seems to be a consensus on pothos and philodendron. Any other ideas?

Be careful, philodendron is toxic.

How about my SIL? She has the personality of a hanging plant, and apparently my "I wish she was dead" plea went unanswered.

I sound horrible, but I promise I am not. And unfortunately, I don't have advice, just bad humor.
