Athleta "Whatever skort"

I'm leaving on a trip on Thursday, and would like to bring one with me. According to their "find in store" feature, none of the local Athleta stores have it in stock, in any color, in my size (I think--I've never bought from athleta so I'm guessing on the size) or one size up or down...

Question #1--Anyone have experience with shipping from Athleta? If I order it tonight, would I probably recieve it by Wednesday (I leave at the crack of dawn Thursday)

Question #2--Anyone able to recommend a different store/brand that sells something similar that I could drive to and pick up this weekend? I live in Virginia and am willing to go about as far south as Fredericksburg and as far north as Baltimore...

If you select 1-day shipping, you might receive it in time, but sizing online can be tricky. I would just go to the Athleta store in Reston or McLean and see what they have - they will probably have something similar and by trying it on you'll know that it fits.

I also love Title 9, but there are no stores around here.

I was in an Athleta store (Dulles) a few days before a recent trip and when my sizes weren't available the salesperson offered to call in my order and waive the overnight shipping fee. Worked like a charm and I even had time to return the pieces that didn't work before my trip!

There is also an Athleta in georgetown.

They ship slow, in my experience...though I've never done rush service. Anything I order from Gap/Banana/Athleta/Old Navy tends to take longer than other merchants like Anthro, J Crew, or Victoria's Secret. I think they ship from Texas.

What Athleta store is at Dulles? Are you talking about the actual airport?

I think she means the one in Reston Town Center....close to Dulles
