Any experience with Jessica Garris photography (Artistic Design Photography)?

I saw that she has a deal on Certifikid, and that she has offered them in the past. Anyone had experience with her? It's a good deal (get 10 digital images; if you don't like at least 5, she will re-shoot), but my past experiences with photographer groupons has been mixed. (There's a reason they are on Groupon, etc).

The coupon long expired but I wanted to still answer your questions b/c Jessica did a fabulous job with our family. We did a 18 month photo shoot for our little boy and we couldn't be happier. She was great in all aspects - had vision, direction and knew how to shoot. We highly recommend Jessica and will use her again if and when we have our 2nd child!

We bought the certifikid deal last year. I felt our session seemed a little rushed and she certainly had a list of poses, places etc. Nonetheless, the pictures of our child were beautiful. She didn't do as great of a job with the family pictures, which is why I didn't buy the deal again.

Wouldn't buy. Our family photos were not good and she was very rushed.

We did a spring session in 2013 with her, and spent about 45 min. or an hour with her at Brookside Gardens with our 5 year old daughter. It was a bit of a challenge scheduling the appointment (weather was not cooperating so we had to reschedule a couple times), and I recall our pre-session communication was a bit impersonal, but once we finally met up, the session went well. She had lots of ideas for different places to shoot and various poses. I've been going through our photos again lately (still haven't had a chance to order prints), and there are some real winners. I would definitely recommend her. You really have nothing to lose. We also did a session with another photographer last year, and between the two of them, we've got some great ones to choose from. I don't think any photographer will have all winners, but as long as there are even a few, I think it's worth it.
