Agree with this take, but also recognize that some d-miss value makes the trade off worth it. Many teams would be better off playing 5-6 2 way mids at the high school level and not subbing offense to defense so often. Truly game changing d-mids or truly awful o mids change the dynamic. |

Does anybody have any insight on how the IAC is determined?
Where is GP's players? Headline by the 5 star... |
the "ALL IAC team" is decided by the 6 head coaches. Each each coach, nominates players from his roster and the coaches vote collectively. Its a simple process. If a head coach doesn't nominate a kid on his roster, nothing can happen. He also needs to secure enough votes from the opposing league coaches. |

The 3 attacks and 5 mids at GP are all better lacrosse players than the player who gets so much dmid attention.
The 3 attack and 4 mids at Bullis are all better than the 2 dmids at Bullis. Bellistri probably should have played all 6 and put them on a treadmill to try and preserve their legs. |
GP getting 4 shows the disdain the league has for them. |
GP faithful must still be pissed off as he gave prep the middle finger as Wade was a Mater Dei graduate and chose Bullis over the Hoyas What year did he graduate from MD? |
Are the all IAC selections posted anywhere? |
Who are the four? #5 #30 #99 #33 Fogo Goalie |
I'm shocked #2 for GP didn't make it. I thought Pre's goalie was pretty damn ordinary, even though he is only a sophomore. |
Are these guesses or is that the answer? Because that’s more than 4 obviously. Why do all the other schools have them posted and GP doesn’t or is it not all announced at once? |
|
all of the schools have announced except Prep.
Ask Hilgy to post on IG. |
#4 at Princeton - the ssdm - was a difference maker yesterday. |
I guess 6 given they are IAC champs. |
|
Prep should have had 7 - 9 guys on the all IAC team.
It's a joke Landon was able to sneak in 6 guys on the squad. |
Agree, and no team with an 0-5 record should have any. Landon at best would have been the 3 poles. Defense (Bowdoin) #27, Sr. Defense (Hopkins) #29, Sr. Defense (Dartmouth) #9, Jr. Landon #4, #2 or #8 didn't scare anybody. Bullis was also defense heavy understandable but the offense put up points with exception of the Prep game. |
