| Guacamole with multigrain chips/cut vegetables and hummus with baked pita chips/cut vegetables - I know neither is perfect but at least they are getting protein and vegetables. Also we make lots of quesadillas with whole wheat tortillas and low fat cheese and black beans. Sometimes I make nachos and use the multigrain chips, low fat cheese, black beans, corn and chopped tomato. |

I will cut up cherry tomatoes and eat them with a part-skim mozzarella stick (and some pretzels) for sort of a caprese snack without the basil. |

| Core an apple and fill the hole with almond butter. For an athlete or thin kid, spread a banana with peanut butter and roll in grapenuts (or roll in a tortilla for travel). Cubed baked sweet potato sprinkled with brown sugar. Grapes. Cherries. |
