| Two men I have known in my career have each been married five times. One to a woman for which it was her third marriage. I have no idea what women saw in either one. A president of a former employer, whom we all thought was gay married a woman and became her fifth husband. In all honesty, she was super nice and used to bake for employees to enjoy. Who knows? |

I wouldn't unless I was in a desperate situation and the person was rich - so something would have to be wrong with me.
Unless, there was something about the person that made him difficult to everyone, but me. For example, DH (been married 20 years), works all the time. Rarely travels (maybe 3 family vacations ever and 2 of those he flew in to join us for 48 hours, the other he spent most of the time working).He does not enjoy luxuries of any kind = I don't get too either. Generally, I spend much of my time alone doing my own thing, and DH is usually a critical and difficult person probably because of stress. I don't think anyone else would stay married to him, but for some reason we are well-suited. So if I met him, and he told me he'd been divorced 3x, it would make sense to me. |
