There isn't another camp in VA or NC this year for girls. The closest one would be Pittsburgh in December.

And there isn't a UVA Camp scheduled at all, boys or girls.

yes if the whole team is pretty much the same skill level. I hate the division these create. Only time it works out well of if the club is transparent about the criteria they use to send talent.

Well said. This is a toxic environment created by the club, coaches and some parents advocating a bit too much. Yes you get your bragging moment but the next game you get exposed and everyone is scratching their heads

And, what's the problem? The GM Head Coach also worked at RU for many years as a girls coach & club ECNL director before departing for FSU. On top of those RU duties, the coach also worked for US soccer as a scout for both the YNT and the NT. There were ID clinics in Richmond a few times. I don't think it's a state secret either that a VDA assistant also is a US scout.

I know that folks think that there is a conspiracy around every corner...and yeah, getting an invite the first time does involve some politics, but once the player is there, it's up to them. The wheat gets separated from the chaff. Good Luck!
