Do kids get bussed to the nearest SACC?

All efforts are made to place children in a SACC center within their school boundary. If a child’s base school does not have a SACC center, or if the base school center is fully enrolled, families may enroll at the next closest SACC center and request a student transfer from Fairfax County Public Schools. SACC placement is not a guarantee of student transfer. If approved, parents are responsible for daily transportation to and from the non-base school.

Thanks! So if my base is LA but they don't have sACC they would transfer DC to Vienna for instance? What happens to AAP kids who need SACC?

If you place to another school, you need to provide transportation to the other school's SACC program. It may be easier to locate an alternate (private) provider.

AAP kids who need SACC can enroll in the SACC program at their base school (if there is a SACC program there) and get transportation to/from the AAP school. SACC staff will help get the student on/off the bus.

Merritt, Kindercare, Happy Hours, Enshin, & Mt. Kim I think all pick up from Louise Archer. Maybe more private places too that I don't know of.
