Hantavirus stocking up?

I still mask in crowded places and there's always been masking since Covid.

There is no real threat for Hantavirus now, and it's very unlikely. It $#!++s for those on the boat, and maybe for those who deparked too early, but this is not a pandemic thing- it's being fueled by social media.

This is more about cruise ships, petti dishes of everything gross floating on open water, than anything else, including the actual virus. The couple came onboard alresdy infected and no one knew. That vast majority of boaters on this ship will not be affected.

I usually have a stock of TPs and tissue boxes. But if there is a lockdown, my toilets have all been retrofitted with handheld bidet sprayer. Good ol water will wash my bum.

I have little kids and health anxiety so abso-fukn-lutley I’m stocking up.

I’ve slowly bought Lysol and paper towels on sale to build up the stash. I have leftover n95 that I’ll check if there is an expiration date but need to get more (I get the America made). I have extra cans of foods.

I was prepared the last time - I saw in December China spraying streets on twitter at like 1 am. It freaked me out completely and I was ready. While this is not the same…it gives me enough pause to stock up and wear a mask.

I already stocked up on masks during the Covid era. I figured if there was another pandemic, we would all be ready with KN95 Masks for kids and adults. Not worried about Hantavirus tho.
